The Sahara was green some thousands of years ago. Wouldn’t it be wonderful for the African people if a Greening of the Sahara cycle was underway once more.

It’s amusing to see the teapot riding on the hitch of the Land Cruiser. Ah the teapot, ever at the ready, because “everything stops for tea.”

Good eye for the teapot. It cracked me up whenever I saw it. There are endless interesting details everywhere, but Chad is especially chock full of them.
