SWITZERLAND IS THE FIRST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD TO BAN MAMOGRAPHY
Screening services are also suspended in parts of Canada, Italy, Scotland, and Australia
— 50-60% of “positive” results are incorrect! So being diagnosed with
“breast cancer” in 50-60% of cases proves it was not even there at all.
— upon examination, the breast is compressed with a large weight of 10 ??? (1019 kg/m2) & then a healthy, very sensitive mammary tissue is bombarded with radioactive radiation!
— stimulates tumor growth & spread of metastases!
— study done at 690,000 records show that a large number of breast cancer in completely healthy women after mammography!!!

I for one am glad to see this. I have had one mammogram in my life, and will never have another. I am unconvinced that squashing a breast between 2 glass plates and then zapping it with radiation is a healthy practice, and I’ll bet that if this same procedure had been recommended for men’s testicles, it would have been scrapped ages ago.
Mammograms, as well as other “screening tests”, lead to false positives. This in turn results in further tests. No one in the medical profession has factored in the extreme anxiety that can result from this, and the repercussions from that.
As well, it is my belief that, at various points in our lives, we all have small cancers starting up. In most cases, our immune systems keep them in check and the aberrant cells are destroyed. But if one “happens” to have a mammogram at precisely the time where a tiny cancer can be detected….well, that sets you up for a lifetime of more and more screenings as well as invasive procedures.
There is one class of breast cancers (ductal carcinoma in situ) that are akin to prostate cancers in older men; i.e. you will die with them, not of them, and if you didn’t have a mammogram, you wouldn’t even know you had it, But once detected, it’s treated the same as an aggressive tumour.
Now let’s turn to prostate cancer…..how many people do we know who have had aggressive treatment for this and are now compromised for life? I mean, yes, if you are 30-something and diagnosed, then obviously you need treatment. But a healthy 75 year old with none or minimal symptoms? Why subject him to a needle biopsy followed by aggressive treatment when in all likelihood he will die of something entirely unrelated (and years down the road)
There is a good book “Overdiagnosed” by Gilbert Welch, MD. I’d highly recommend reading it. It goes over what I’ve talked about as well as other “tests” deemed necessary by the medical profession that are in all likelihood done too frequently or inappropriately.
I realize this is a complex topic. We cannot simply blame doctors for recommending unnecessary tests. The media hypes them, the drug companies and equipment manufacturers have a lot of influence, and the lawyers are ready to pounce if a doctor “misses” something.
Anyway, my rant for the day.
And a good one at that. Well said. GMG
Second that complement.
As an aside, RXD is the ETF for shorting the Medical Complex.
Its not primed yet.
But it would give me joy to ride that one well, along with LABD, when its time comes.
I third that GMG
100% spot ON !
