Yes, Sir North.
We can all just listen to each other and respect each other as far as our views on the various forms of “sinister leadership” with no country having a clear, good future.
I did not comment yesterday.
I lived the first 23 years of my life in India.
Indira Gandhi was assassinated less than 2 miles from where I lived as a 9 year old at the time.
Great memories of the largest democracy by population.
Now I reside in the “land of the free” since 1998.

Yes, we are going through turbulent times right now and it is very difficult, as you say, to find “a clear, good future.” I think of young people just starting off and I don’t envy the turmoil they must be experiencing. Yes, India is the largest democracy by population and it is amazing that they are able to keep it going. Perhaps it is the legacy of Indira Gandhi. Best to you.
North
Sir North,
I meant my reference to India and the assassination in a sarcastic way.
Indira Gandhi and her dad, India’s founding Prime Minister, hurt the nation in numerous ways, for their own hunger for power.
My dad’s family was wrecked, both financially, and in terms of loss of near and dear ones, due to the partition of 1947.
Indira Gandhi paid for one of the greatest acts of religious desecration with her life.

Innocent Sikhs were labelled as terrorists and killed by the Indian Army.
This 23 year old came to Fremont, CA, in 1998 and saw the same terrorists honored as martyrs in Fremont Gurudwara. The great democracy of the USA gave asylum to the Sikh Indians who fled their own country to save their kids’ and their families.
38 years after 1984, India is by no means a democracy under Modi the great dictator.

… their kids’ lives … sorry for the typo.

Okay, GL . Got it.
Thank you Sir North for Acknowledgement of many of our Positions …You are a scholar and a gentleman

“I would recommend a study of Biblical prophecy, especially Ezekiel 38 and 39, and the Book of Revelation”
With all due respect you have the incorrect interpretation and how it relates to Gog/Magog.
Let me know your thoughts after you listen to the links below on this subject:

Thank you for your video. With all due respect, I have to say that there are many interpretations of the Bible. I do not agree with Pastor Anderson’s. The Gog Magog war happens before the return of Christ. It is very specific about the countries that are involved, and all those countries are now aligned against Israel. The peace referred to in Ezekiel 38 is one that the Anti-Christ brings in not the 1000-year millennial peace. Yes Gog and Magog are mentioned once in the Book of Revelation. It is a symbol there of what happened before being repeated at a grander level, but it it does not negate the nitty-gritty war that will probably take place soon before the return of Christ. This is my interpretation and the interpretation of many scholarly Bible experts. However, this is an interpretation. Anderson has his interpretation and we will see how everything comes to pass.
Just remember that we have an alliance of Russia, Turkey, and Iran, along with a few other nations invading Israel. This kind of alliance has never occurred throughout history but is present now in the world. I don’t believe that the Gog Magog war referred to in Ezekiel 38, 39 happens after the 1000-year reign of Christ. We could see it in our time.
