Moderna’s two-dose Covid vaccine for kids ages 6 through 17 received the endorsement from the FDA’s committee of independent immunization experts on Tuesday, a key step on the path to distributing it to kids.
The committee voted to recommend the shots for use in kindergarteners through high schoolers after an all-day public meeting that weighed how safe and effective the shots are.

All day meeting. They “weighed” how safe and effective they were.
What is there to weigh? Kids are not threatened by covid, so the safety is irrelevant.
But they took a whole day and all the public were involved and a committee voted on it. For something that’s useless to start with.
Part of this approval theatre is being able to say “we took our time and went through the information to make an informed decision.”
