Looking around the Alt news sites I see Most of them are Strongly Pro Ukraine . Most of them are publishing damning articles against Putin. Portraying him as a Murderer and a Coward ( Hiding in his bunker) while Zalenski is a Super hero leading his people in defence with no outside physical allies coming to his rescue.
Of course all the MSM sites are doing the same kind of reporting.
Both sides are implying Putin is failing in his attempt to conquer the Underdog Ukraine.
Apparently the Russians are being slaughtered on the battle field AND Economically …as thier Market has crashed 50% and their Banking lines have been seized. Also the whole world seems to be supplying the Ukraines with Military Equipment.
I have no Idea what is true. But it is striking to me that most of our Conservative based Alt news sources are backing the Ukraines and hoping Putin is destroyed
Even Trump attacked Putin ..calling this attempted genocide and praising the Ukraine resistance
This is the first time I have seen the Left and Right United in a cause . Surprising
I am of the mind that Putin was provoked into this and had no choice.
Interesting turn of events.
Read Putin’s speech to his people at the outset of this catastrophe. It is a clear argument for the justifications of the measures he has undertaken. Then read the sophomoric rhetoric of the western leaders in response to his actions. They are filled with platitudes about concepts they no longer believe in, such as democracy, independence and freedom. We’ve seen their level of commitment to these ideals these past few years; that is to say, they have no fidelity to them at all! This is a game of power for the west, and a determined stand against that game by Russia. Russia is a great country with a great history. Putin will not allow her to be subsumed by the dying culture of the west, a culture he and his country reject with good reason. Many of us reject the same culture for the same reasons. I am sickened by war and it’s implications for those unfortunate people who are destroyed without remorse by the fools who bring us to this abyss. Yet, we should try, at least, to understand the causes of a particular war, and lay the blame at the feet of those most responsible.

Years ago, someone ran a poll at Denninger’s site based on Myers Briggs.
57% of those taking the test — 200 or so — and reporting in, came up as INTJ. Myself included.
In the general population, that figure would be about 4%. That told me something.
Just like the “Good Guys” poll you have up now.
NATO and USA together at 0%. Rather astounding I’d say.
The West has rotten leaders, and Putin might have reasons to fear them. But Putin is still a murderous dictator who poisoned journalists abroad, and sent political enemies to prison or executed them. If the Ukrainians have the guts to take on Russia and beat them, so be it. I’ll shed no tears for Putin. Recently he has threatened Sweden and Finland. Where do the threats end? What countries would be next? I despise the current leadership of Europe, the US, and Canada, but I don’t trust Putin either. Corruption and murder are everywhere.
Something to consider where this might be headed….
In what better environment than war, for western (and EU AUS) leaders to declare those who do not agree with them, enemies of the state – terrorists whatever. More civil liberties will die under war powers legislation (enacted past and future). run on banks (achilles heel of the NWO agenda). Hold it own it, and if it requires the internet to function…..
Also, as Ukraine heats up and more western resources/attention is drawn in that direction and with the lack of at-home leadership support, how can China not see this as an opportunity ‘to not let go to waste’.
