A group of lawyers has issued a declaration calling for an end to COVID-19 vaccine mandates and passports, measures they say have “strategically” infringed on Canadians’ Charter-protected rights and freedoms.
“In our country, civil liberties are under unprecedented attack,” reads a statement on the “Free North Declaration” website.
“Governments, public health authorities, universities, public and private employers, municipalities, and businesses are trampling Canadians’ rights and freedoms. Our free society is at risk.”

Sigh. Am cautiously optimistic. Very cautiously optimistic. Time and time again I have seen Canadian Labour unions abandon their members and side with True-Dope. I have seen the vast majority of doctors complicit with Dr Bitchface’s tyrannical mandates. I have seen judges rule that mandates, lockdowns etc are perfectly fine because this is after all “public health and safety”. I have seen our Charter of Rights and Freedoms become a worthless piece of paper tossed into the trash.
So we shall see what happens.
