Colin Powell was a great public servant. His recognition and articulation about the terms in which military engagements should have a clear goal and specific endgame was a major contibution to US foreign policy. However, he was human and we all make mistakes. I don’t know if he was actually snowed by the intelligence community about Iraqi “weapons of mass destruction” or just went along to get along. I expect it was fall in line or resign and keep your mouth shut or we have an offer you can’t refuse. It seems he had somewhat more morals then the rest of them. At least he resigned rather then continuuing to go along with the lies of 911 and Iraq.
At the end, he became a tool of the left like the rest of the pentagon mob.
Either a total lack of courage if he knew the truth, or a total fool for lacking awareness on the Cheney game plan, and the counterfeiting needed to implement the scam. I think it was Wesley Clark, who later revealed that there was a plan, and if he knew it, Colin should have known it. At that level, you have to know what you need to know, or you don’t belong.
Pedro’s comments sound harsh, but they are spot on. I think Colin started as a good man. He brought a fresh look at issues (while still in the army), but ultimately he allowed himself to get drafted by the corrupt state. I doubt the hundreds of thousands of Iraq citizens who were wantonly killed would say the good outweighed the bad.
Colin knew better. He carried his guilt to the grave.

A.K.A Covid Propaganda Central started highlighting the number of vaxed covid deaths who were vaxed vs. total covid deaths as an “infintessimal” .042 percent, or some such made up stat because they see the tide is turning and they are trying to stem it.
