Doctors allowed to act like doctors? Surely NIH, CDN and FDA will appeal this ruling — not allowed in their version of America — unless it puts money directly into their pockets it is unworthy of acceptance!
Neither of those federal agencies has any authority over local doctors in our system. What they have to worry about are the state medical boards who can pull their licenses. However if the state AG sides with the doctors the boards will have a tough fight on their hands. Our system of Federalism is a huge and vital element of what our founding fathers bequeathed to us in the USA. It’s on display daily in Florida and Texas, among other states.
Great point on federalism, Liberty. The various states and provinces in the U.S. and Canada are each intended to be laboratories of democracy. We have forgotten our roots, and now allow overbearing federal governments to run roughshod over these jurisdictions. Two different systems suffering the same malady.
Thanks Strider. I haven’t given up hope yet. Still more than a little bit shocked though at how willingly so many citizens simply surrendered their God given and Constitutional rights. Reagan was right. Not everyone surrendered though. I think the fight is far from over. Numerous governors will sue Biden and the Dept. of Labor as soon as the private employee mandate actually hits the books. It will get up to SCOTUS quickly. IMHO that decision will be the beginning or the beginning of the end.

If we didn’t have it we would already be like Australia and some others.
No doubt about that.
