   Both the GDX and GDXJ completed “Three White Soldiers,” which is a bullish candlestick pattern that is used to predict the reversal of the current downtrend in a pricing chart. The pattern consists of three consecutive long-bodied candlesticks that open within the previous candle’s real body and a close that exceeds the previous candle’s high. The pattern suggests a strong change in market sentiment in terms of the stock, commodity or pair making up the price action on the chart.

   (i) What is the timeline for the $46 prediction?
   (ii) What is the timeline for the $60 prediction?

   Of course, everyone needs to make their own decisions, but I’m just trying to eat your brains!

   FWIW, my portfolio is up 17% since the bottom on 9/29/2021. Time will tell … I have been wrong in my own portfolio’s bottom calls on 7/19/2021 and 8/20/2021, where Sir Plunger’s “guidance” of BMR proved correct. Now Sir Plunger’s recommendation has my highest respect, so I added no new cash … rather used the profits and proceeds for earlier long and short term holdings to rotate to new juniors, and cost average down on at least 10-15 names which were down 25% to 45%, and were all names that I had held for under 52-weeks. So far that strategy has worked. In hindsight, I do regret not adding more cash. It scares me how quickly the USD is losing value when buying food, real estate, gasoline, manpower services etc. etc.

         If we are to factor in inflation, you’ll get only a 95% burger next Tuesday compared to what you’ll get today.
         I am STUNNED by the fast food prices’ rise!

         Sometime back a great author remarked … minimum wage … maximum stupidity!
         All that wage increase is one of the biggest ingredients in the retail food service industry we’re seeing.
         When college kids complain to parents that they are stunned by their Doordash and UberEats menu prices, you know that the inflation beast is truly here! That and the 70-80 USD gas fillups, and Costco bills in excess of USD 400 just for less than two weeks’ groceries. 22 USD per hour is the wage at an In N Out burger!

         QE fruits sowed over the last 14 years are reaping these hideous fruits!
         It was very timely that someone here mocked Jim Sinclair (sarc on)

       I always believed the Tent gave free predictions, not perfect predictions! It is one forum where we are not judged if eight out of ten predictions go wrong! I love this forum for that unique trait! HONESTY !!! ALWAYS GOLDEN !!!

       FWIW, I can even predict a no-gentleman’s-entry kind of rise now!
       Wishful thinking, may be, but can’t rule it out. It happened to lumber and Uranium, so why not PM shares?

       Silver’s been killing it the last three days. Looks like something has changed. The inflation story is raging. Up, up, and away for GDX and the metals.

         Its not inflation raging, its dollar topping and yields pulling back.
         Lacy Hunt says he is STILL looking for lower yields.

         FYI … EW was looking for USB price to tag the LT trend line and hold after 5 down.
         But the bounce in price is expected to be just an ABC fib retrace. If so … trouble ahead for everything, after that bounce. That is a month or two ahead yet.

   Just a guess. Looking at the $GOLD chart, we could retrace to 1730 area before a breakout above todays price. Could be fast and furious as we approach the apex on my chart.

   On the other hand we could break higher in the next few days and rise to a new ATH.

   I’m good with either. Cash for buying lower or just riding the price with the shares I have if it breaks through.

     Exactly, Sir Columbia!
     We needed to taste this “blood” i.e. breakout, before knowing that this time it is for real. If it keeps going higher, maybe sell 5% just to lock in some very small gains, and make this calendar year’s realized gains better … but any shakeout(s) might be the opportunity to add more shares in our favorite miners!
