This hit home for me.
My son is so worried about wearing a mask at all times in public, no matter what I say. I asked why.
He told me he couldn’t stop because he could give it to me and I could die.
No matter what I say he lives in fear.
We don’t even watch tv.
It’s school.
One needs to bite the bullet and take em out of school and figure out a way to home school them.

The kids “thrive” socially when they are in school. I put thrive in quotes, because I want them to enjoy the way they want to enjoy.
My elder daughter started college three weeks ago. She is living much better now than what she went through, having spent the last quarter of junior year, and the entire senior year of high school, at home. She is vaccinated. Moderna. Her college mandated vaccination for kids to be on campus and to stay in dorms. There was no chance in hell I’d not let her go to her dream college.
My younger daughter is a freshman at high school. Her school has not mandated the vaccine. She and her friends are happy to mask up and meet each other every day, and then some!
My twin nieces are 11 year olds, started 6th grade in middle school last month. I’m happy they are not vaccinated. I’ve openly told this to their parents that they are lucky to have their childrens’ immune systems get some more time and chance to fight off any virus! One of my nieces does get terribly scared whenever her vaccinated Dad catches a light cold or sore throat or fever. She says to her dad to take all possible precautions, for her sake, even if it means to get tested for Covid despite him being vaccinated! I can almost tell that she wants the vaccine.
I am myself Pfizer vaccinated since May 2021. Despite my will.

This is why the gaps that now exist will never be bridged. Once they believe the sun rises in the west and sets in the east, there is no persuading them otherwise. Facts, “science”, studies, graphs, numbers – does not matter. If there ever is an “aha” awakening moment, it comes too late, when they are on the train to the ovens.
GL – I also do not understand what it is that you are trying to communicate.
I don’t know of ANY parent that does not understand that their children/grandchildren are better off physically and psychologically if they are able to be with friends. These lockdowns, masking and social distancing have taken a terrible toil on both children and adults. It is sad to watch so many being made to suffer needlessly for a virus that has multiple treatments options available and a remarkably minimal medical impact. This despite the fear that is being conjured up daily by corrupt press and politicians.
It was only 18 months ago that the annual flu virus was deemed responsible for significant death rates annually (~1M/year?) and life went on unhindered & unaffected. This CV panic has a massive propoganda campaign linked to it by organizations (WEF, UN, BIS etc), corporations, politicians and psychopaths that want control over the entire planet. In it’s most basic form it is no different from the scenario first attempted via WWII with guns and bullets that is now being re-executed 75 years later with multiple bio-weaponized viruses. The goals and objectives appear to be the same, only the tactics have changed.
So I think we are ALL in agreement with the point you are making on socialization of children, youth and adults as being healthy and proper.
Still the question becomes is it acceptable to gain this “socialization” by simply acquiescing to those attempting to impose a totalitarian state (whereupon decisions on your personal body are no longer personal but instead made by the societal collective)? How can that possibly be acceptable when there is no need for the fascist dictates in the first place and there are only a few of them challenging for control of the world?
It was the value of personal freedom for which our forefathers lost their lives via bullets and bombs in WWII. Our war today is being fought via biological weapons.
There is no conscription draft or drive for volunteers to step up and fight this battle because the enemy is microscopic & hidden behind a cloak of propoganda. We don’t see the daily carnage of bodies lost in battle by bullets and yet deaths are occurring on an increasing frequent scale as the bio-weapons are deployed over time (first the vax and then boosters) such that daily carnage is hidden from view. As the legacy media is owned directly by these aggressors the general populace remains ignorant of the toll.
Even in WWII they weren’t going to be able to kill everyone at once and it took many years of accumulated carnage. Our war has just begun but the advantage for the aggressors this time is that biological weapons leave the infrastructure in place and useable after the culling is done.
So rather than simply give-in, why not work together to toss the tyrants executing this coup d’etait into the dustbin of history?
Our choice is no different from that of our forefathers — either accept the benevolence of the aggressors to live a year or two longer or resist in order that our children/grandchildren will have the same freedom that we grew up with and thrive without injecting unknown biological agents into their veins?
Renowned/respected scientists/doctors have already confirmed numerous times that these bio-weapons impact the natural immune system, fertility etc etc and ultimately cause death. The problem is that these scientists/doctors are still fighting just to be heard on the original danger and as such their talents/skills cannot be re-focused to find a cure for those already jabbed. Only after the aggressors are defeated can we unleash the power of science to identify and find solutions for the damage being done now by these bio-weapons.
This is a battle for survival where everyone is equal whether vaxxed or not and we should be one team fighting this rising 4th Reich.
I am truly saddened that you were “vaccinated agains’t your will” as this implies being forced vs free choice. Many others are being forced into similar situations right now in order to survive. How can we help each other fight this war? How can we help you?

GL I do not share your enthusiasm that your daughter is vaccinated…not sure why you were compelled to post these personal health issues on this particular post…we are discussing how these mandates and masks are detrimental to children

Correct, Fully. Complying with this nonsense is aiding and abetting the enemy. THAT is the lesson that should be taught to our children, NOT compliance to “have fun the way we want to have fun.”
Americans ought to spend some serious time studying exactly what those in the Continental Army suffered through to obtain the freedoms we freely surrender today. The contrast is harsher than night and day, harsher than black and white.
Only one response makes sense for those who love liberty: refuse to comply and confront the enemy constantly. Take the consequences of such actions as a patriot. Not up to it? Move to China, Argentina, Venezuela, Cuba, Iran, Afghanistan. They would love to have you.

I do sympathize with the kids in this scenario.
The child in “Good Bad Ugly” that grew up to play Harmonica (Charles Bronson) wrestled with that very issue — believing he was (in some way) responsible for his father’s death. Tough burden to bear.
So the answer is to find some way to convincingly absolve a child of responsibility for anything that might happen to his parents’ health. Kids have to be kids. That’s their job.
The time to teach that lesson was at the beginning – by refusing to comply with the asswipes cramming this junk down our throats. Refusing to comply and explaining “why” to your kids was likely the most important life lesson you could have ever taught them.

GL – the fact that you tried MEANS that you did not fail them or yourself.
There is an old saying that “you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make it drink”. Imo, this is only a question of were you brave enough to try to lead them to safety. It’s not about whatever decisions they chose to make as individuals. We ALL want the right to make our own choices and therefore should not begrudge others when they make theirs.
Instead ask yourself – how will you help them if/when they finally figure out what’s going on?
My hope is that we ALL will retain our sense of compassion because we are going to need every available ounce of it to survive the coming storm.
You didn’t fail — you tried very very hard — but perhaps now it’s time to switch focus.
At some point this charade will be seen for exactly what it is and those who believed the propaganda will find it hard to comprehend what just happened.
What iz your plan for when this occurs?
I don’t know Sir Kewl2 … may be I can call my plan “hope and faith” … which I know is not a plan at all.
The painful journey from being outright opposed to the vaccine, from shunning the media that was just brainwashing every sane person alive, then finally accepting it, was on a road paved with so many deaths and near deaths of near and dear ones, both in the USA and in India, “due to Covid”.
What was the truth? May be the pursuit of truth weakened, and I gave in. But the flame in me never truly died.
Being already vaccinated before Summer 2021 started, I can see your point clearly, that any health issue in the future may lead us to doubt … whether it is because of the vaccine?
I do not have a plan.
I will share with the Tent, in all my honesty.
