More than 1,000 Israelis test positive for COVID

   In today’s jpost.com there’s also an article reciting Pfizer’s contention that a study in Israel is supposed to show that if you have had the supposed vaccination you are less likely to pass it on to others in the household. I will leave that item without a comment of my own other than that I expect that one will see similar arguments in the US.

   As usual there are sarcastic comments about the article. So far the JPost does not seem to censor irreverent dissident Covid comments. Sometimes it’s almost as though they want to let dissident opinion through. As long as you don’t click too much you get to see a fair amount for free.

   I do not know much about the JPost or in fact Israeli politics but began looking at jpost.com a year or so ago fairly regularly in part to enjoy the interplay between Covid official remarks and sarcastic counter-commentary.

   You may or may not know that Israel is perhaps the most locked-down and Covid-inoculated country in the world. If not, it’s up there (or is it down?). From the knee-jerk (or deliberately divisive) antisemitic comments in ZH you might assume Israel is trying to rule the world with Covid, but there apparently is actually considerable unhappiness. Life is complicated.

   It is not a matter of fake inoculations either. Their Covid deaths and “cases” went up after they were inoculated. They have had plenty of complications from the shots.
