We hear of Pre existing conditions ( new CDC report says only 5% of deaths were Only due to Covid) The rest had an average of 4 (FOUR) pre existing conditions
We also hear of pre existing immunity ( Up to 80% have this immunity due to exposure to similar viruses which cause the common cold)
But The real root cause of this Panicdemic is Pre Existing Stupidity
Turns out you really CAN fool Most of the People ALL of the time
The people in charge have hired their psychologists over the years, psychologists who, somewhat to my surprise, though unwise and not necessarily so nice, seem to have served their masters pretty well. I believe they have a grasp of diversity of personality types, who falls for what and who doesn’t.
Orwell, who was so far ahead of his time it is (in multiple ways) scary noted via W Smith in 1984 that it was the from the proles that there was any hope of change because it was the Party members, at least the outer party members, who were the true believers. I don’t know it for a fact, but I have the impression that in the old eastern block countries the nomenklatura tended to fall for the propaganda more than the so to speak proletariat, at least after things got set up. In the “West”, where the organization is so much more complex and diverse there is still something similar. It is what some leftists call the PMC (professional-middle-class), the bureaucrats, the civil servants who tend to buy all the propaganda. Various people on off-guardian have noted that ‘education’ in the ‘West’ tends to include much indoctrination. They don’t mention so much that people are just plain bought off (cf the old Upton Sinclair quotation of hard to get a man not to believe what he’s being paid etc etc).
There’s also a divide betw/ who watches TV; who is addicted to smart phone and antisocial media. There are undoubtedly innate proclivities. The watchers from google, apple, and the other eyes will now have a good sense.
If it is ‘stupidity’ then it may be well-educated people among others who are ‘stupid’. However it is more a matter of different types of gullibility.
The trick is for those of us who want to remain autonomous not to make those people feel as if we despise them, as if we feel we are superior to them, Sons and Daughters of the Goddess or some cult members or something like that. We should develop our own psychologies.
The really stupid people are those trying to pull this stuff off. They’ll never be happy. Poor things.
