With anything gold. (This will be our 2nd divorce). It has been one hell of a run. Made me whole again. Gave me back my confidence and a nice (paid for) trading account. God bless you, Fully, for building this place. It kept me focused for sure.
I am no longer convinced that this is a new bull. Too old to lose it all again. Not saying it’s over…just over for me. Not interested in being a nut…..just a washer. 🙂
So now what? Need a new bull. Need one that leaves little doubt.
I’ve been looking at this for a few months and am now all in.
The only serious participants at this point barely make money but like Amazon will trade at insane multiples based on anticipated earnings. There are few issues to choose from. Demand will be difficult to fill. Right now they can only fill prescriptions.
Recreational use is the future prize.
The main catalysts going forward are the Nov release of the task force’s report on legalization and legalization itself slated for 2017.
Like always, it is imperative that you do your own DD.

You could be on to something but is the smart money already invested? There seems to be a lot of ‘Marijuana investment’ articles on the web from famous publications suggesting a lot of the retail crowd are already in these stocks.

Like all stocks, no-one wants to buy at the top only to sit through a painful correction and see their investment go up in smoke (pun intended)
The first correction ended yesterday. It barely lasted a few days. No sign of a rollover. (Unlike the junior miners). This has all the characteristics of a young bull as described by our esteemed Mr. Plunger.
Don’t tell anyone, but I think being married to gold is pretty stupid and I’ve been looking forward to the divorce for a long time. A loveless marriage since even before the beginning. However I’ve done so well with the separations and (feigned–sorry, gold–I was always callous, calculating, and cold-hearted) reconciliations over the many, many years, that I’m sticking with it. I expect a wonderful settlement–way later.
But I’ve been wrong various times and could get taken to the cleaners.
Better the devil you know strategy. The luxury of a veteran. 😉

The last and only time I threw in the towel on gold was October 2014. (The “Squig” incident. Get over it already). Anyone who used that as a buy signal was worse off. That was beneath you. You are a moderator. Supposed to be setting an example around here. My screen is all green today. That is what matters.

Here is the most important issue: Is the trend sustainable?
Is the demand for gold capable of a 10 fold increase in the next 12 months?
Is the demand for legally produced and sold marijuana capable of a 10 fold increase in the next 12 months?

A gold mine is a gold mine. Reporting production in grams or ounces. Capacity in tonnage or sq ft.
