   Yes. In the real world of even civilian-grade crypto, everyone has revocable credentials (no “mere passwords” here), everyone knows what credentials are now connected as they come and go, and someone on staff is actively monitoring – able to interrupt and shut it down instantly if compromised. Triply so when actors at this level are discussing State secrets. This very-odd story is simply not what it is being sold as. It cannot be. These players are not amateurs. And, this is not the medium that they would ever use for “the real thing.”

   It’s security is not the point. The point is that DOD personnel are not supposed to use it and in the past have been forced to resign when they were caught.
   Plus, it also can’t be used because it bypasses logging of fedgov communications and, thereby, avoids FOIA searches just like Hillary’s basement email server.
   And there’s this “coincidence” just prior to this event. Ignore the “war plans” BS, but note “Google”:

   Remember, with Flynn the FBI and media got help from Mike Pence.
   That’s what makes this op particularly poorly conceived. If Waltz is a mole, why would they detonate an explosive most likely to remove him? And while they timed it to drop right before the SSCI hearing, it was too obvious. Plus they didn’t have ANYONE inside Team Trump (eg Pence) lined up to take out Hegseth/Waltz.
   PLUS, they left behind fingerprints (staffer) and evidence (Signal data).
