Protesters in Turkey
Happening now

Unlike the French Yellow Vests or Canadian Truckers or those who protested against Lula’s taking office in Brazil – I don’t get the feeling this is an ‘organic’ protest from individuals concerned about their freedom or economic well being. Turkey as a non-compliant NATO member with a LOT of external enemies who wish to overthrow Erdogan. EU block/CIA/MI6/WEF/Soros – there are lots of masks in that crowd and few private hand-written signage indicating specific grievance.
Also I’m NOT going to defend Erdogan’s gov’t, I just know I don’t believe this ‘protest’ is naturally occurring.
After reading these AP and BBC articles. They FAIL to go into any objective details such as 1) What specific voting irregularities is Erdogan accusing the Mayor of? 2) No specific evidence of the Mayor supporting the PKK 3) Specifically what were the ‘irregularities’ in the Mayor’s 1990 transfer from a private university in northern Cyprus to its Faculty of Business Administration.
All these points appear to be slanted toward getting the reader to believe >> Erdogan bad, Istanbul Mayor good.
I don’t see any of the MSM wishing to sit down with Erdogan and ask him to tell us his side of the story.
Please READ this BBC story to see what ‘slant’ I’m talking about.

The AP article is a bit less obvious.
Again, I’m not going to defend Erdogan because I don’t feel well informed, however I do realize 90% of what I read from the MSM (generated by the usual suspects mentioned earlier) is negative toward him.
