Personally, I am more concerned with the CCP. The CCP influence is deep within Canada. Triads, drugs, money laundering and political influence. We have much to gain by allying with Russia. Work with them jointly in the Arctic. They may have to face China themselves if China needs more resources. Siberia would be a target.

Someone should tell Bannon about NORAD. we’ve been jointly defending the north since 1958. What Trump wants is our share of the Arctic. The same lies are being told about Greenland. Whenever the American government wants to steal something they pretend to have a grave national security issue.

I “recall” that the NORAD base at North Bay, Ontario was closed decades ago (including under the mountain) so the only site remaining in Canada is Winnipeg .
