The Canadian and BC Government have looked the other way for decades. Canadian and US banks have been complicit. The ill gotten gains, in the Billions, buys a lot of influence.

Who is involved? The Chinese Triads, the CCP, Mexican Drug Cartels, Banks and Government officials.

There is a suggestion that this is payback for the Opium Wars against Imperial China in the early 1800’s which destroyed much of China’s economy. At the time China had one of the largest economies in the world. This is a reverse Opium War.

What it accomplishes is a deterioration of society targeted with drugs. CHECK

Buys influence within the government of the nation targeted. CHECK

Trump recognizes that American society is ultimately being dismantled (1000’s die every year, society impoverished, family breakdown) and Canada and Mexico are willing pawns. He is playing tough with the threat of tariffs but ultimately it is the above.
