since January 20 2025 I can no longer keep up with all the good postings here. There are not enough hours in the day to watch or read all the wins. Waking up in the morning to a new dawn of positive news. I imagine I am not alone.
TDS by Canadians has moved into the next level of Mental Illness. I still believe the Tariff threat is meant to force Canada to rid our country of the CCP influence, money laundering and the drug trade. If we take action on the above most of the tariffs will be a thing of the past. Some may stay and we may be able to find a new market.
You may be right Columbia, and certainly those issues should be addressed regardless, but the more I think about Canada being swallowed wholesale, like a boar slowly disappearing into the gaping maw of an Anaconda, the more I think it possible. Off the hop, it would quite literally be a steal for the Americans. They absorb the second biggest country in the world, replete with an almost unmatched measure of resources, a small population, almost indistinguishable from its own, ownership of perhaps a third of the Arctic and all for the price of – well, basically nothing. Does anyone really think Canada wouldn’t acquiesce when faced with the fundamental economic destruction of our country, should a determined Trump play hardball? It’s a brilliant move by an acquisitive son of a bitch, and it just might happen.
In a mea culpa moment, Canadians should acknowledge that we have brought this on ourselves. We have always acted as though we were an appendage of the US. Just a guess, but is our retail market any less than three quarters American already? Do we even have our own hamburger chain anymore? We need not even be dazzled by the offerings of Home Depot, or Apple stores. We already have been!
Want to get pissed off? Think about this! Trump could flat out purchase Greenland by giving each Greenlander a million bucks. It would be a terrific deal for the US. Canadians won’t get a single penny. Our deal would be, you get to keep your job!
Imo, you are correct that Trump’s issue is the CCP influence over Canada’s economy & corrupt government officials. Solve the Chinese influence issue and work with the USA to ensure that Canada’s borders are secure and corrupt politicians are removed and all other issues will be minimal.
However, my sense is also that the Trump issue has captured the minds of Canadian citizens and they are rapidly forgetting all the corruption, censorship & globalist funding by taxpayers that has occurred under Trudeaus lead.
More importantly, Canadians potentially face a dire threat in the person of Mark Carney – who the Liberal and monied elite have chosen as Trudeau’s replacement. Carney has a long and ugly track record of supporting the WEF globalist agenda and even some former high ranking Liberals are speaking out that Carney should never be allowed anywhere near political power.
Is it possible that Canada could be on the verge of another Keir Starmer style trap, where he campaigned on one set of values and the moment he was elected into power he threw those ideals out the window and imposed mass censorship and government tyranny upon UK citizens.
The position that Trudeau has convinced the premiers to take (ie: direct confrontation – my dick is bigger than yours style negotiations) will logically ensure that this “tariff” crisis continues for an extended period of time. If the elite then slip Carney into the PM office and do away with the “normal” 2025 election, Canadians could be in really deep sheet until September 2026 (latest date for next election). Carney has already stated clearly that he WILL immediately utilize “emergency powers” to control Canada’s response to the USA — this alone should terrify all citizens!!!!!
Not to mention that Canadians ALSO want the political corruption and mass censorship to end. There is no reason for the CCP running rampant over Canada’s laws and such activities jeopardize the security of the nation.
Why anyone is listening to Trudeau after all his years of failure is a separate curiosity question! Another issue for discussion another time is how did Trudeaus rumoured personal wealth rise from $6-8M to +~$325M over his tenure as PM while his salary was less than $500K/yr? And WHAT did Global Affairs Canada just hide by deleting their ENTIRE IT database with it’s records of funds disbursed by the Liberals around the world — taxpayer funds that is!
Great comprehensive assessment. Are more Canadians now thinking ALL of this through? Biden & Co. drove home the Dem agenda, to the point where Americans finally woke up. Canadians got the benefit of watching this up close, but like many around the planet, they focus too much on his indelicate/brusque manner. Here, we see it as simply tactical (and efficient for an older man) and we measure the results.

This tells me Libtardia Canadians are still afraid to vote Conservative . Poilievre scares many of them because he’s not gay and full of shit like Turd .
However a very large poll by Abacus dropped yesterday and showed 19 point Conservative lead…so hopefully the respons biase has been short lived.
Remember that the media AND the polling companies are funded by the government and political parties. It should be no surprise that Carney is being touted as having “closed the gap” with Poilievre and I imagine that it will steadily close until they are neck to neck at the time of the election.
NONE of this will be true but the Liberal party has lied to Canadians for decades and this will be no different. If they can create the illusion that Carney is the leader of Canada than they will hammer that home in every single newspaper and TV and internet story that they publish.
In face, we can see it happening NOW — when they review Carney versus his competitors note how his picture is just ever so slightly bigger than the others. Not enough to be obvious but it is positioned between the two other candidates so that it suggests that he is the “centre” view to appeal to non-Liberals. The advertising being done today is clearly in support of a possible election on the horizon — one that Carney will avoid like the plague if he can manage to renew the NDP coalition (as an aside the NDP has destroyed itself with this farce of “joint power”).
So EXPECT the polls to lie and it troubles me that Poilievre is staying silent as if he should not interfere with the Liberal race.
Watch out for mail-in ballots due to some existential crisis so that the vote can be rigged similar to what was done to the 2020 US Presidential race. NOTE that BC vote is already being challenged due to vote manipulation by the Elections Commission and that issue has been removed from the front page and is quietly withering away. The historical rumoured and confirmed corruption of the Liberal party is legendary, so nothing should surprise citizens!
I had the good fortune to move to Canada from Michigan in 1970. Canada was a fine place back then (as was the USA minus that stupid Viet Nam shit). I worked at an ad agency two blocks off Yonge Street. We’d stroll three blocks after work to a pub where there was a men’s side and a women’s side. Grabbed a pint of draft for .25 They had a piano player (real guy!) who played great tunes while we drank and carried on as men do.
That was back when Ontario Place was built down on Lake Ontario. We often went to places in the evening where “Canada!, We love you!” was sung with great gusto and feeling. Brought tears to my eyes, honestly. Those days were when a certain attorney broke the hockey barrier and created the great showdown between the Canucks and the Russkies. I was driving from Hamilton to Toronto when Canada scored the winning goal. Pulled over to the side of the freeway to listen to the game end along with dozens of others, all of us honking our horns and screaming “Canada! Canada!”
What the hell happened. We left Canada for good (after marrying a Canuck gal and having two kids) in 1984 fearing Canada was going socialist. Had no idea of my prescience. Little did I know that this once fine nation would slow walk into the muck and mire of tyranny and oppression. I seriously thought The Truckers had awakened that once deeply held patriotism and pride. For a time it did, but short lived. It did, however, have a fascinating side effect: it ignited much patriotism and desire for freedom south of the border. The admiration for The Truckers stateside was palpable.
America faced a fork in the road in the 2020 election period. The bald-faced take down of the man by government weaponization of every aspect of the justice system was nothing short of astonishing. I fully believe that the 2020 election “loss” was a necessary prelude to what we are now experiencing: the wholesale revelation of a completely corrupt and compromised government. The draconian stupidity and overreach by the commie dems, combined with the slowly revealed covid hoax, ignited what remained of the America of old: the desire for the freedom and liberty originally served up by the founding fathers. And that swept a new and different Trump into office.
He’s a different Trump, a man on a mission to “set things right” and determined to re-establish American pride and patriotism. Some of what he says and proposes appears far-fetched and even outrageous, but in the context of literally turning the country around makes some sense if not complete sense.
Unfortunately, Canada lacks all of that. Good old Pierre sounds good, but still clings to things like “Russia bad, Ukraine good” gotta win that war nonsense. And his lack of stature was revealed in his response to Trump’s threatened tariff war. That guy gave me serious hope for Canada. But no more. The destruction of that country methinks has exceeded recovery time. Like a drowning victim who remains those few seconds too long underwater and cannot be resuscitated, that strikes me as where Canada now sits.
Perhaps someone like the Albera premier can slow the final slide into the abyss. From the outside looking in, it seems to this observer that the only hope for freedom in Canada is for provinces like Alberta to leave, declare independence and become free nation states in their own right. Canada can certainly not survive with a socialist Ontario, the insanity of Quebec and British Columbia. Smith has shown herself mature beyond her years and beyond her experience. She is a solid thinker, astute at seeing opportunity, and apparently keeps her word.
Unfortunately, not enough to “save” Canada. Can someone see a way out, other than being absorbed by the U.S.? With such a generally compliant population, how can it possibly be turned around?
Such a thought seemed outrageous a few short months ago. Now it doesn’t seem to be such a bad idea for Canada. My concern is it is a bad idea for the U.S. We don’t need another tens of millions of sold-out commies and terrorists and WEF minions to deal with within our borders. Maybe deny them the right to vote???

We have become a Nanny state where the general population believes and depends upon their Government to think and provide for them.
I spent a few hours yesterday with a 20 something female Danish Ski Instructor. She loves Canada for the wide open spaces and natural beauty.
This is her life back home:
-lives with her parents
-Education is free as well as a monthly stipend while at school
-Healthcare is free buit taxes high
-the family car is parked a 20 min walk from their small apartment so they don’t use it often (it’s a compact size)
-it’s good that they walk or bike whenever they can (she looked very healthy)
-she believed that the food they eat is fresher and without additives than here which it probably is
-energy is expensive
-she did not know how much gasoline was in Euros per litre (doesn’t have a driver’s license so never fills up the tank) She only hears it’s expensive compared to here.
-she appeared very contented with her life back home but loves Canada more even though what she earns does not pay her expenses in our village
She has lived under Socialism her entire life and it is comfortable and accepted by her. She appears passive and will likely willingly accept her lot in life. She’s not Woke at all and wants to have a family and all that comes with that but it is almost prohibitive. Basically the Government has dictated her life with freebies but doesn’t know it. There didn’t appear to be any incentive to achieve.
The shocker was how comfortable with having migrants invade their country (not in large numbers) but saw no problem that they don’t fit in. Brainwashing probably.

Was at an event all day yesterday.
We were told in advance not to wear any logos or offensive clothes.
In the lineup I mentioned that I was proactive and removed all my pro-Trump stickers. Boy did that set the tone for the day. The interesting fact was almost all the people there hate The Turd and what he did to the country but hate Trump more (tariff threat and Orange Man bad). They ignore what he is doing to expose decades of plunder.
Interesting that I heard many stories about personal jab injuries.
One guy took one jab, got an adverse reaction. He has joint pain and has put on a lot of weight, no energy since that one shot. He promptly got fired from his long-time job for not taking a second. He believes that 20% of his friend cohort
have suffered from adverse effects of the jab. Mostly #3. He has woken up and is on to the WEF and the whole scam.
His thoughts as to why people did not speak out sooner about AEs was as passive Canadians they just went along even though they were damaged. This guy appeared normal to me but I never knew him pre-injury.
He came right out and told me he was middle class before the Scamdemic but is now the working poor and just getting by.
Very sad. One more step towards UBI for the masses.
