The “Vancouver Model” of money laundering gave BC the insanely expensive housing market. Many homes and condos sit empty as places to wash their ill gotten gains. The horse has bolted from the barn and too late to claw back that which has happened.
I am against regulating who can buy a property but when it’s blatant criminality and the successive BC Governments have done nothing to stop it, something must be done and soon. All politicians involved were in on the take. Discouraging for our young families who can not afford to have a back yard for their kids to play.
