You might already have gotten the impression that I really enjoyed my time in Chad 😉

What a paradox is the Sahara! Terrible desolation, surreal beauty.
GB, you are a wonderous talent behind the camera. Thank you for sharing.
Tea Anyone?
Battered, Bruised, and burnished with soot, wearing its lid at a jaunty angle, the tea kettle is poised precariously on a makeshift hearth. The lazy campfire is set in familiar surroundings. It is not the first time tea is brewed there for thankful guests. Nor will it be the last. You can get the sense of it.
Tea? Yes, please.
Thank you so much! I’m traveling in spirit with you, or at least I’d like to imagine that. I always wanted to see the world. Maybe I’ll be to old to enjoy it by then, though the Saharan sun would feel good as I wake to snow on the ground and arthritis in my joints.
Thank you, guys. I appreciate the kind words and good thoughts.
silver fox- beautiful photos of this human experience are easy for me because there’s amazing beauty all around. My camera helps bring my attention to it and then captures snip-its of the vast variety of golden nuggets I’m blessed to find, everywhere. Thank you for accepting my invitation to join me for tea. You are a wordsmith, a beautiful poet.
Marcusjames- I hope you continue to enjoy traveling with me and maybe even just head out on your own soon, for a firsthand experience of the world that calls to you personally.
