There’s a difference between “going along” to “get along”.
Versus undergoing conversion to the cause (the hostages).
They WERE under stress, and heard just one point of view for days.
Those who under Covid did what they thought “THEY” wanted …. that’s a different animal. Lazy, no moral backbone, no critical thinking … no anticipation of CONSEQUENCES (beyond the day at hand).
+ 1, pd. I have never excused most of the sheep that went along for the clot shot shearing. Some, of course, have limited capacity, but the average person succumbed to the get along to go along nonsense that always diminishes. It’s what high school students do that causes them regret for the rest of their lives. Anyone considered an adult should look to themselves when regret piles up on this bad decision. I’m not forgiving the perpetrators of this massive crime against humanity – I’m pissed that they have not been hung; and the reason they haven’t been is because we refuse to hold people, including ourselves, accountable. We’re still doing it despite the incredible damage it has caused. Hell, were trying to hide from the damage.
I should confess to probably making more stupid decisions in my life than the average Tenter, and not paying the price for many of them. How often have I looked back to say there, but for the grace of God, go I? That being said, I would have been much better off had I paid the price for my stupidity right from the start. Accountability is the way people learn.
We are essentially ruled by monsters now as a result, and half the country embraces monsters which means we are in danger.
