California was lost a long time ago, I just hope when it sinks for good we are not dragged down with it.
I’ve always shaken my head at Cali, too. Recently though, I’ve wondered if their electoral system is now so corrupted that even an overwhelming change in the populations wishes will not be reflected in the vote. Democrats have shown themselves to be without even basic scruples. Look at the lawfare against Trump. They know it’s completely corrupt and without merit, and they are just fine with it!
