Back And Forth Greetings!

This morning, I woke up to 6″ of new snow in the town of Gubkinsky. More notable to me is the fact this is the first day I’ve had in ages when both the high and the low temperatures were above 0°F/-18°C. The trend is warmer. This is actual climate change!

Yes to the crazy shit. It’s nonstop, but all of it amazing and good.
As to how they got that vehicle out, your guess is as good as mine. I’m sure a chainsaw was used because that new ice was thick (it was -25°F that day), but I didn’t see any signs of a crane having been out on the ice. That’s the only way I can think to pull a vehicle out vertically. Maybe it was a log tripod and a winch.
