Loading ...Less than a third of US parents eager to vaccinate young kids against COVID-19
Only 27% of parents in the latest poll from the Kaiser Family Foundation said they were eager to get their young children vaccinated against COVID-19 if the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) authorize the use of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine in children ages 5 to 11.
“Two thirds of poll respondents who said they would definitely not get their child vaccinated said they were concerned the vaccine may affect their child’s future fertility. In general, most parental hesitation surrounding the vaccine concerned unknown long-term safety side effects.”
That is Encouraging !
But then there’s that 27% who are excited about it !
I’m amazed how many people divulge their Vax status. Some are happy but others were coerced for various reasons. I’m hearing now about this who were not happy getting the shot.
There are roughly 25 full-time people residing on our street. Five are young children not eligible for the shot yet. That leaves 20. I know three who did not get the jab. That leaves 17 who may have rolled up their sleeve and did the “right thing”. Of the potential 17, 2 had adverse reactions in the form of strange rashes or lesions shortly after the jab. They still have some lingering discomfort where the lesions were.
That’s a 12% adverse reaction rate. Neither one was reported as our clinic GP told both it had nothing to do with the jab. There may be more experienced by the remaining 15 . I don’t ask. They divulge and are a bit embarrassed about the whole situation.
Will they get the booster? No F..king way!
Right now in BC, 2 shots are considered fully Jabbed. Come Dec the optional booster in Jan will be required for full jab status. We all know what’s coming.
All the US Mandates are coming to a head in Dec. Basically those need to start their shots by Nov 1 or be canned.
This is the calm before the storm and it’s not that calm so just imagine the turmoil we will experience.
