They wanted to go on strike but leadership was against it. Then the government, wanting to look like they were in control, decided to lock them out instead. Everybody knows what’s going on I think. I don’t think anyone trusts the government in Australia anymore –at any level. Even at the level of union leadership who colluding with the government. If Australia is the test bed for total dictatorial government, it’s failing I’d say. When the state takes everything away, people have nothing to lose.
