Just reading a piece I saved from 2018 re waterfalls.
Pattern: track and hold a trendline; accelerate above channel.
drop from peak to TL, which holds. Bounce from TL is countertrend and fails to make new high.
Waterfall decline occurs after second (failed) test of TL.
In EW … peak is 5. Drop to TL is 1 (in five waves). CT bounce is 2. Waterfall is 3.
