Elon Musk’s DOGE initiative will be an epic failure.
That’s the message from the latest forecast by the “non-partisan” Congressional Budget Office which projected staggering increases in federal budget deficits and debt over the next 30 years, coupled with a collapse in population growth and productivity, largely due to surging interest costs – the same soaring interest costs we have been warning about for years – as it laid out a dismal economic picture for the twilight days of the United States.
It sure “feels like” everyone other than Trumps team is trying to subvert this second term in office. Will his team be strong enough to withstand these constant attacks, will they subdue the judicial coup d’etait or will they break through these attacks to make America strong again??
I have little faith in Trump with the exception of this one area. I believe he has the motivation to destroy the governmental forces that viciously attacked him, his family and his presidency. As DOGE exemplifies, the way to do that is to remove the snakes funding. This has the added benefit of bringing the budget under some form of control. Perhaps that spending discipline, along with longer term inflation prospects will allow for a rebalancing of expenditures to income. The biggest threat to his presidency is these fucking wars he refuses to put an end to. They will sap his support.
