I took the time to listen to the Naomi Wolf and Catherine Austin Fitts interview that someone posted yesterday. They of course are conservative leaning personalities. Wolf was one of the first to sound the alarm on the COVID V*x and was canceled because of it. The tent has known Fitts for a long time. The interview starts by suggesting it is a patriotic duty to question the choices of our leadership…I was expecting them to point out the mismanagement on the left, but instead they turned to our beloved DOGE. Fitts points out that large swaths of sensitive gov’t data on us are in the hands of individuals with potentially concerning conflicts of interest. The size of the layoffs suggests management of said data could be privatized in the future and lose the protections it receives under the gov’t umbrella. But, the main point being, it is already in the hands of people with outsized conflicts of interest in their dual role as public/private citizen.
So let’s compile a list…
Starlink….wide reaching surveillance network
Neuralink…physically embedded electronics that could lead to physical control…think tesla updates to firmware
Tesla…control of movement, robot warriors coming
X.AI… combined with DOGE data has the potential, as Fitts asserted, to implement social credit system
X…Elon is looking to develop ‘super app’ capabilities through financial payments integration making use of this app an ‘on/off’ switch
I don’t know the answer. BUT…if he turns out to be a bad actor, it could be really bad for the rest of us. Kind of reminds me of…

I doubt that he is. Starlink is great, I can access the net in a power outage. Neurolink helps paralyzed people…. why turn good news into fear, the internet loves the fear porn for the baitclick ad money. Wouldn’t heaven get boring after years on end of floaty bliss, would I enjoy looking down onto other family members as they masturbate? Heaven is misleading if it does exist.

Good to hear. For the most part, I’m a fan of Musk. On paper though, I think it is prudent to acknowledge that it is a potentially concerning concentration of power.
