CTH: what-happens-after-the-dogs-catch-the-car ?
“I mean, who are we kidding? If Republicans were in charge of the Senate Judiciary, Reform/Oversight, or Intelligence committees, do we really believe that anything would be different? Before responding to that cynicism, remind yourself, they were for four years, January 2015 through January 2019, Republicans in charge of oversight.
It was exactly when Republicans were in charge of Main Justice and FBI oversight that Main Justice and FBI were targeting political candidate Donald Trump.”

Relentless Detail with Receipts in the column …. => reform is delusional
The Deep State has been orchestrating the shift to totalitarianism for many decades, while the Trump team is orchestrating the first “coordinated attempt” to reverse direction for America (since JFK).
I interpret this CTH article as saying “too little too late” — it is doomed for failure as the DS is now too entrenched, it’s members too corrupted and Americans too passive to stand up for freedom and reversal of the globalist scheme.
It is as “doom and gloom” an overview as I have read during this citizen battle.
If CTH is correct, than the war is lost before the first battles even begin.
Those chosen to lead the war are deemed irrelevant — their skillsets and passion not significant enough to dent the defenses erected — CTH barely mentions key players other than in passing. The dice have been cast and the outcome already locked in.
CTH historical facts are clearly accurate but I definately hope that his view of the final outcome will not be proven correct!
Yes, reform is delusional. Trump is a valiant fighter and a difference will be made regardless of how short or long it lasts. As I scrutinize X posts trying to keep up with the rapidity of “breaking news” what strikes me most is the lack of systemic change. It not only isn’t there (I know, I know, it’s been but a month+) there are no signs of it coming down the pike.
What’s killing us all is the spending, the endless bottomless spending. Republican “controlled” congress and senate are bent on – what a surprise!!! – spending more. No cuts (what they are proposing are not actual cuts and even if they were they are insignificant) just more of the same shit. No charges brought against ANYONE so far. We put up with the abuse of Jeremy Brown (long delayed release from prison), the (ongoing) delay of JFK and Epstein files being released, no departments closed. It is slowly dawning on me that without men and women in congress like the ones Trump has appointed to various agencies we cannot cut off the tentacles of the swamp/deep state. And they simply are not there.
Until we see both men and women led out in handcuffs from their offices and/or their homes – the much desired “perp walk” – all we’re doing is rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. We need to see the J6 committee in jail, we need to see Pelosi pleading for a lenient sentence, Lindsay Graham resigning in disgrace, etc etc etc. The magnitude of what has yet to happen is overwhelming. Trump has a very small team to do tons and tons of work and time is flying by. He only has – my guestimate – until the middle of the summer to break the stranglehold on DC. That seems to me to be an impossible task. Just don’t see the manpower lining up. It’s heart warming to see who is heading up the various agencies and departments, but even then there is endless feet dragging: the oversight committee on the JFK files taking a trip to Dallas to visit the site and interview eye witnesses is an excellent example of how the swamp effectively neuters needed change.
Gotta give Trump and his team credit – they are moving fast, far and wide well beyond what I ever dared to imagine. But there has to be deeper things happening and so far we’re getting crickets.
My pea brain is struggling to see how Trump and team can overcome 500+ legislators actively working against lasting change. Republicans are the lying corrupt bastards they have always been and the dems ain’t about to change stripes. And the Supremes are a huge question mark given recent decisions.
I’ve already drunk my celebration champagne and now I’m starting to sip some of that reality brew.

Sums it up. As Martin Armstrong posted years ago, Trump will likely give us only a Reprieve. The economics of Massive Debt weigh against Restoring Greatness. The Republic ended with Lincoln. The DeepState came along in 1913, with bankers pulling the strings. And we probably need Sun Tzu and More to figure out next steps. Could take several generations with Wisdom (that is in short supply). I’m THANKFUL for all that’s happened in a month. It would be BETTER if someone else joined the team with some philosophical vision on that Lasting Change. Elon needs more than programmers exposing the rot. We need a Blueprint/Master Plan. Maybe the folks at Heritage are working on that. They should. Projects 2026 & 2028.
Exactly, Pedro.
