President Trump says the United States is taking over the Gaza Strip as Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu listens.
“This is just a demolition site. Virtually every building is down. They’re living under fallen concrete that’s very dangerous.”
“The US will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it too. We’ll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site…”

WOW …. OK who had US taking over the GAZA Strip on their 2025 Bingo card?
Well, off the top of my head I would say this is insane.
not if the U.S. is building a port there.
HE’S RIGHT…THERE IS NOTHING LEFT…BULLDOZE THE WHOLE DAMN THING AND BUILD BACK BETTER
Hamas is still there, stronger than ever. Is Trump going to send in the American military? That will go over big among those who thought they were voting for a peace president. This is Bibi the war criminal’s dream come true.
I supported Trump since he was robbed of his victory in 2020. I hoped he would be motivated to destroy the deep state. So far he has done a great job. In foreign policy Trump is an idiot, and I had hoped he would confine himself to deep state destruction. That would involve retreating from militaristic adventurism. Isn’t that what he promised? He should immediately pull back from this nonsense, for it has the ability to destroy his presidency.
HAVE YOU READ THE ART OF THE DEAL STRIDER ?
DO YOU KNOW 1 /10000TH OF WHAT TRUMP KNOWS ?
CALLING HIM AN IDIOT IS A LAME AS ONE CAN GET IMHO
HE’S NOT WORKING FOR YOU..HE’S WORKING FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND HE HAS THEIR SUPPORT
What is the American people’s interest in Gaza? The Palestinian people have a fundamental interest there, and they will not go peacefully into Trumps’s goodnight. As to Trumps brilliance, he armed and trained the Ukrainians, pulled out of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty resulting in Russia’s Oreshnik missile – which is far beyond America’s capability to defend against – sanctioned Russia to a fare the well, carried forward the failed war in Afghanistan, angered virtually all American allies excepting the mad Israeli government, lost Africa to China and Russia and gave more money to the military industrial complex than any president in history. Good Lord Fully, the fool thought Spain was the S in BRICS. As I said, when it comes to foreign policy, he’s an idiot!
What if Trump’s “the U.S. is just going to own Gaza” comments are just meant to get the neighboring Arab countries to frantically decide, “WAIT, WAIT, we’ll own it, we’ll develop it, stay out!

Grok explained how this plan would pan out.
Step 1: Public Statement Strategy
Rationale: The U.S. (in this scenario, through a figure like Donald Trump) makes a bold public statement suggesting that the U.S. might take ownership or control over Gaza. This statement, while controversial, serves as a catalyst.
Step 2: International Reaction Monitoring
Rationale: By monitoring the international reaction, especially from Arab nations, the U.S. can gauge the level of concern and opposition to such a move.
Step 3: Strategic Diplomatic Engagement
Rationale: Engage with Arab nations diplomatically to discuss the implications of U.S. involvement in Gaza, emphasizing that such a move is not in the best interest of regional stability or Arab national interests.
Highlight the potential negative outcomes of external (U.S.) control, like increased regional instability, loss of Arab influence, and the alienation of the Palestinian population.
Step 4: Encouraging Regional Ownership
Rationale: Use the initial shock from the U.S. statement to encourage Arab nations to take proactive steps to claim ownership and responsibility over Gaza’s development to prevent U.S. involvement.
Offer U.S. support in a capacity that respects Arab leadership, perhaps through financial aid, diplomatic backing in international forums, or technical assistance, but not direct control.
Step 5: Leveraging International Bodies
Rationale: Utilize international organizations to legitimize and support Arab-led initiatives, reducing the perceived need for U.S. intervention.
Encourage the UN to facilitate peace talks or conferences where Arab nations can present their plans, ensuring these are seen as legitimate and supported by the international community.
Step 6: Public Diplomacy and Media Strategy
Rationale: Shape public perception to favor Arab involvement over U.S. control, reducing potential backlash against the U.S. and fostering a positive image of regional cooperation.
Step 7: Withdrawal of U.S. Proposal
Rationale: Once Arab nations have committed to a plan or are actively involved, the U.S. can step back, showing that its initial proposal was a strategic move to stimulate regional action.
What a convoluted pile of horse shit!
ACTUALLY STRIDER … that is EXACTLY WHAT IS GOING ON

(from Waltz)
Note this – in 20 years possibly less, the AIPC-influenced US house/senate and under a completely diff’t corruptible administration will GIVE it to Israel to line their own pockets. And if there is military infrastructure there – here you go. This is an incredibly stupid move IMO.
1) Israel buys US arms
2) Bombs the crap out of Gaza with them (blood cost not considered)
3) Trump says the area is ‘unsafe’ – no shit sherlock – it’s a fucking graveyard and we’re worried about wearing safety helmets.
4) At little to no expense to Israel and their Zionist agents, they get what they consider THEIR LAND rebuilt.
Trump’s idea will initially be a ‘US-Strength’ selling point but it will soon morph into a big THANK YOU from the State of Israel, likely not on Trumps watch but later for certain IMO.
The underlying premise for this outcome is understanding that Israel only sees the US and it’s power as TOOL toward their world view and the role they theologically believe they have to play.
Also, if we build a military base on Gaza, the fate of the US will be irreversibly linked to that of Israel (just as it was recently ruled in congress – Anti-Zionism = Anti-Semitism). Based on Israel’s .orgs here in the States – they have never and will never have the US citizen’s back – EVER, except to the degree it serves the State of Israel.
Israel will not exist in twenty years. Israel exists today because of American money, American military supplies, American training and American indifference to genocide. They can no longer float an Aircraft carrier close to the Middle East for fear of it being sunk. Why is this so difficult to understand? The US has been left behind in air defence and missile technology. American hegemony is over!
Additionally – I want to hear Trump share with the world (and now esp. the Am people since he’s getting involved at US expense) what he knows or can find out about WTF went down on Oct 7. And also, exactly how he would have prevented it. It surely wasn’t because suddenly Iran had $ inflows and could fund the operation/incursion/breach of the security apparatus – it wasn’t $$ that caused the breach, it was either 1) incompetence or 2) willful negligence (plausibly deniable). To this day NOT ONE PEEP about anyone within IDF taking responsibility for the security lapses on that date. – The only thing the (owned) media talks about is the atrocities resulting from the breach (with revenge and froth on the mind). If I was on watch detail and the enemy broke through and I was silent – at the very least shouldn’t my head (and possibly my commander’s) roll on a public stage and the Gov’t make a very public apology to the victims? Also why would victim family’s have to go outside of the Israeli judicial system to find out what happened on 10/7, instead of having to go to the ICC (an authority Israel does not recognize).

Although they purport to be – Zionists are not Jews just like BLM’rs are not Black. It’s total and complete BS.
Regardless if it was incompetence OR willful…the fact remains that Hamas Planned and Gleefully executed the Attrocity …They seemed to realy realy enjoy the slaughter torture rape ( you name it ) of civilians
It was their best day ever ! Let that sink in
I disagree with Zionists are not Jews…Netanyahu is a Jew …Not one of the best but still a Jew
That’s like saying the Mullahs in Iran are not Muslims
In evrey Group and Culture there are Peace seeking people ( vast majority ) and War seeking people ( usually the Leaders )
Half of the people killed on that fateful day were killed by Israeli forces, as were the more than two hundred thousand innocent civilians – mostly women and children – killed in the fifteen months since. The “slaughter torture rape” you speak of is the gross propaganda of the Israeli government.
Were you there ?
This is the real Horseshit
Unbelievable that you accept this rhetoric
You and I don’t know the real numbers
and any number is a horror
But I see 45,000 as a concensus from both sides
and the innocent civilians were killed becuase the Hamas hide amongst them …they are not targetted
At any rate it’s a real horror story as are all Wars
I find it totally regrettable that the US finds itself mired in the MiddleEast in any way. High cost, and limited national upside. Just painting a bigger target on your back. Almost nothing can be done without stoking ever more hatred.

My main concern about Trump was/is that he supports Zionism.
In most Western countries we seem to have 2 main choices: support WEF/globalism or Zionism.
Unfortunately, the needs of US (or Canadian) citizens always take second place to one of these ideologies.
I sincerely hope that the US does not get more involved in more money-sucking misadventures in the Middle East.
Over $200 billion has already been spent/laundered in Ukraine since 2014, over $300 billion, inflation adjusted, in Israel since 1948.
What does “America First” really mean?
