I don’t believe pardons can be for future crimes, just those in the past, whether or not charged.
But going forward, they cannot plead the 5th, and if they commit perjury, they CAN be charged for that. I’ll be curious if the courts can find any other loopholes in this travesty.
As it is, the American people should now read these pardons as DEFACTO INDICTMENTS.
