Why he even met with Gates is beyond the pale. Sometimes Trump is incredibly stupid. Those who worship at his alter are bound for disappointment – he’s just a man, with no guiding principles driving him. Mr. Practicality hisself, as long as it does not include admitting he fucked up. I voted for Trump out of the gate. Have supported the guy since 2016 from the get-go. Reassured my doubt Thomas friends repeatedly that Trump would win in 2016 AND 2024. Proudly displayed a sign in my yard despite grief that my wife did not appreciate. Wore sports gear proclaiming the Outlaw and the Hillbilly. Shut down idiots at the local rec center who brought up nonsense about Trump (they couldn’t stand anyone correcting them with facts – ran likes scared rabbits.)
