Two Democrat legal experts are calling on Congress to take immediate action to prevent President-elect Donald Trump from taking office, citing Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.
Most legal experts however agree that the notion of Republican lawmakers supporting a move that could elevate Kamala Harris to the presidency is highly improbable and at the moment, Democrats just don’t have the stomach for such a fight.
This is EXACTLY the tactic that Jamie Raskin has been incinuating he intends to pursue when the new congress is sworn in on Jan. 3rd. This article may well be to soften up resistance and test public reaction prior to that date.

The States have ALL certified their resultts and there is No one in Congress stating they will challenge the electors
There has to be 20% of each Chamber ( House and Senate) to challenge and the challenge has to be based on legal challenges of which there are none . Trump ha never been charged with insurection
Then Both the House and Senate have to vote in the majority to not count the votes in each state where there is a challenge

FGC – Completely agree – however – the Zerohedge article was posted yesterday as NEW and it LOOKS like a trial balloon message.
Yes — We ALL hope that this isn’t the case and that the Democrats will not spark Civil War by attempting to disqualify Trump — however — they have talked about it this specific strategy for months & (supposedly) have been working on legislation to make it happen — so we will find out in a week.
Re: an earlier comment about no one challenging the vote — IF we are surrounded by “essentially war” and IF they DID decide to proceed, they would surely NOT tell the enemy (republicans) what they intend to do in advance………so while we hope it doesn’t happen……the first signs are appearing .. and we will find out when/if Trump gets confirmed by the end of January 6!
