If you think Trump had a competent, trustworthy team during the campaign (he won, so this is a possibility), then you should hold off before proclaiming the world is ending when you dislike a Cabinet/staffing selection.
Especially when nobody has taken office yet. Remember that the people surrounding and advising Trump are different.
Also remember how the “campaign was over” when Trump chose JD Vance. Look how that turned out.
Good advice! Just to set the Tent apart once again, I thought most of us were ecstatic at Trump’s selection of JD. I don’t read, watch or listen to any mainstream media, so I miss much of the narrative on that side. I didn’t know there was panic because of JD. What dummies! I was over the moon. You could’t find a better life story to sell, and the guy is head and shoulders above the typical politician of our time. His selection was the high point of the campaign for me – other than election night, of course. Perhaps I should congratulate those in Fully’s poll who voted that we would know the winner on election night.
Agree about Vance. He wasn’t someone I was begging for but compared to all the others being mentioned/considered I was positive when the announcement came, maybe more so from the standpoint of dodging a bullet had Trump chosen a Rhino.(like Rubio who at State will end up as the GOP equivalent of John Kerry, just a wannabe.)
