trade in our gas cars for electric vehicles?
• Why is canceling student debt a good idea? Does it make sense to
reward people who do not honor their financial commitment by taxing
the people who do?
• Are we living in a time where intelligent people are silenced so
that stupid people won’t be offended?
• If an 18-year-old isn’t mature enough to own a firearm, then maybe
five-year-olds aren’t mature enough to change their gender.
• Is this an apt description of America? Andy has left Mayberry, and
Barney is now in charge!
• Why is talking sexually in the workplace considered sexual
harassment to adults, but talking about sexuality to children K-3 at
school considered essential?
• Who else had a “Ministry of Truth”? Hitler, Goebbels & Stalin!
• I once saw a movie where only the police and military had guns. It
was called Schindler’s List.
• If your electric car runs out of power on the interstate, do you
walk to a charging station to get a bucket of electricity?
• Why are we running out of money for Social Security and Medicare and
not for welfare, illegals and free college?
• I just got a full tank of gas for $22. Granted, it was for my lawn
mower, but I am trying to stay positive.
• Mice die in mouse traps because they do not understand why the
cheese is free. The same thing happens with socialism.

• Nobody called it “Toxic Masculinity” when we were saving the world.
• Want to stop drunk drivers from killing sober drivers? Ban sober
drivers from driving. That’s how gun control works.
• If socialism is so good and capitalism is so bad, then why aren’t

should give your legs to a veteran who lost his. That way a real man
can stand in your place!
History is not there for us to like or dislike. It is there for us to
learn from it.
And if it offends you, even better, because then you are less likely
to repeat it.
It is not anyone’s to erase. History belongs to all of us.
This is personal commentary, and should be confined to the comment section. There is too much personal opinion masquerading as “news” in the tent lately. I understand that our posts reflect our opinions, yet the tent should not become our personal soap box. If Fully disagrees with me, I hope he’ll point that out. In my opinion, even a free flowing idea centric site like “The Tent” needs some editorial smack down every now and then.

Well, how do I respond to twenty three comments, most of which are simple minded bullshit. Perhaps, you should let them stand as precisely that, thereby letting the tent be defined as precisely that. Back in the day, as they say, the climate morons could easily compile a list of twenty three, or a hundred and twenty three, simple minded observations about our impending doom. Those fools have run along. I would prefer those who suggest I give my legs to vets who lost theirs in some immoral war would run along too! The entire post is an embarrassment, acceptable as a comment, I suppose. Your site; your choice.
Thanks for your opinion. I’d like to know what you found objectionable or inaccurate in the post. IMO it all rings true, just as did the 6 photos of Michelle, Gretta, etc you posted earlier this morning. The only difference I see is yours is stated pictorially, but IMO they are the same kind of “truths”. FWIW!
