Texas has a Republican Govenor (not sure about Ohio). Why are they not calling out the state police, ie Texas Rangers, and if needed, forming citizen posses (like in the old west) to arm up and attack these illegal gangs who are committing crimes.

Arrest and prosecute, or better yet, take them out when they resist arrest. I understand in Blue states with their sanctuary city policies and welcoming in illegals and facilitating their committing crimes, nothing will be done.
