Since they are both due for a bounce, will we get a charge from the JOLTS due out in a few minutes? I believe yes for stocks and probably for gold and silver. How much and for how long?
What are the JOLTS
Number of job openings. They were down but not significantly. Up until recently companies, particularly in the tech industry, had lots of phantom job openings to make it look like they were growing rapidly and to attract candidates when it was tough to do so. Now they are gradually getting more realistic but probably a lot of fluff still in the numbers.
So is every news bulletin now a probable bullish PMs spark?
Where are the charts?
Geez.
In my world the charts tend to offer clues on how the market will react to the news. (generally, contrarian to over emotional and ‘logical’ first instincts).
Charts are fine for markets that aren’t so obviously manipulated as the metals in the short term. News and economic stats have always been market movers in the short term. Look at my calls my trades etc. Usually contararian and very logical. Yours? This, or this or maybe that.
