   From your man in the trenches in the heart of Silicon Valley, I think the above is an understatement.
   In pockets of San Jose and Santa Clara cities, two of the largest in Santa Clara County, I think the vacancy rates exceed 40% in many pockets. Note that these are the same areas, which in the pre-Covid era were close to 100% occupied.
