THE NARCICIST IN CHIEF IS LASHING OUT
The next year and a half is going to be quite a rough time for Canada as we remain trapped in the grip of a Prime Minister lashing out at a nation that doesn’t want him in power anymore.

PS…This Honda Plant is just up the road from me.
1000 new Jobs …whoo whoooo
But 5 million investment from the Federal Gov’t …PER JOB….in the EV Market ( which is cratering)
What a Turd
On Thursday, Justin Trudeau – along with Ontario Premier Doug Ford – announced what was billed as a big investment in jobs and the Canadian economy.
And the top-line numbers certainly seemed big and impressive.
“Honda is set to build an electric vehicle battery plant next to its Alliston, Ont., assembly plant, which it is retooling to produce fully electric vehicles as part of a $15-billion project to create a supply chain in the province for the Japanese automaker.
The plan – which includes up to $5 billion in public funds – is expected to see the two main plants create 1,000 jobs on top of retaining the existing 4,200 jobs at the assembly plant. That plant is set to produce up to 240,000 vehicles per year when fully operational in 2028.”
After news of the announcement was revealed, however, people started to look a bit closer at those numbers.
$5 billion in taxpayers’ money going towards the creation of 1,000 new jobs is $5 million per job.
The fact that the government hyped up the ‘retention’ of 4,200 other jobs hints at the likelihood that Canada’s current investment idea is so poor that the government has to pay off companies to stay.
This is all happening at a time when the EV market isn’t shaping up the way many in the industry thought it would:
“Ford’s electric vehicle unit reported that losses soared in the first quarter to $1.3 billion, or $132,000 for each of the 10,000 vehicles it sold in the first three months of the year, helping to drag down earnings for the company overall.
Ford, like most automakers, has announced plans to shift from traditional gas-powered vehicles to EVs in coming years. But it is the only traditional automaker to break out results of its retail EV sales. And the results it reported Wednesday show another sign of the profit pressures on the EV business at Ford and other automakers.”
So of course, this is the moment Justin Trudeau, and the Liberals chose to throw truly unprecedented levels of our tax dollars at the EV industry.
Combined with previous announcements of taxpayer subsidies to EV car/battery companies, we’re looking at roughly $50 billion the government is giving/promising to give to the industry.
And given the pace of spending, I wouldn’t be surprised if that number reached $60 billion in a few months.
That’s about double our national defence budget.
Again – because it’s so crazy it has to be said twice – the government is giving out EV industry subsidies worth about double our entire yearly spending on national defence.
To say this is crazy would be an understatement.
Spending $5 million per job is shockingly inefficient.
It’s the kind of thing a desperate government does when they need to look like they’re “making things happen” and “creating jobs.”
But like everything the Liberals have done recently, we will all be paying a severe financial price for this.
Yet, that’s not the only thing that stood out from Thursday’s announcement.
No, the most dramatic aspect was how angry Justin Trudeau became when he was asked how much the government was spending per job created.
Take a look at the link below to see what I’m talking about:

This kind of petulance and outright anger is something we’re seeing more and more from Trudeau amid his brutal poll numbers.
And aside from the usual attempts to deflect difficult questions without answering them – something we see from most politicians – I think there’s something else going on here.
After all, Trudeau once made a big deal out of the idea that he – supposedly unlike Conservative Leaders – respected the media and respected difficult questions.
Trudeau made this a key part of his brand, which he ‘expanded upon’ by trying to buy off the media through bailouts and subsidies.
But now that the media is ever so slightly beginning to ask him a few critical questions here and there, he’s getting quite angry.
As I thought about this, I remembered reading about something called ‘narcissistic injury,’ and I think you’ll agree it applies to what we’re seeing from Trudeau.
“Narcissistic injury occurs when something or someone challenges a narcissist’s inflated sense of superiority, specialness, or entitlement.
Narcissists tend to have especially fragile self-images that are threatened easily and often.
At the very core of narcissistic injury lies entitlement. Narcissists often have an unrealistic and grandiose view of themselves. They feel entitled to the unconditional positive regard, admiration, and attention of other people.
When these entitled needs are not met and their idealized self-image is challenged, it can lead to a narcissistic injury.
Furthermore, because of their self-righteous beliefs, narcissists are unable to accept responsibility for their own actions. Instead, they feel entitled to an apology.”
I’ve gotta say, that sure sounds like the Prime Minister.
Trudeau is entitled, sees himself as above others, purged the government of those – like Jody Wilson-Raybould – who questioned him, sought to control the media, and is now lashing out when he gets criticized.
He’s also acting like he has nothing to do with Canada’s decline over the past eight and a half years – a total failure to accept responsibility for his actions.
I would also argue that he’s doing deliberate damage to the country by ramping up spending in such a reckless way all for his political benefit. In a way, he likely sees this as some kind of perverse ‘win-win’ for him. Either all the crazy spending helps him stay in power, or it leaves Pierre Poilievre with a disastrous mess to clean up and thus ‘punishes’ Canadians for having ‘dared’ to vote Trudeau out.
This also explains Trudeau’s approach towards Communist China and his refusal to bring in a Foreign Agents Registry.
China’s interference helped him politically. It made it easier for him to stay in power. Given that’s all he cares about, he isn’t concerned about this undermining our democracy and putting Canadians at risk.
And so, as much as it’s always challenging to analyze the psychology of our leaders, it is important to do so – especially when it’s so obvious we’re led by someone dangerous to the country.
This helps us to get a sense of what will happen next.
Given his narcissistic mindset and the fact that Canadians turning against him will make him more and more angry, we should expect to see more moves from the Trudeau government that damage Canada’s long-term prospects.
The closer he gets to what seems like an impending defeat, the more his desperation and rage will be evident.
Thus, the next year and a half is going to be quite a rough time for Canada as we remain trapped in the grip of a Prime Minister lashing out at a nation that doesn’t want him in power anymore.
