In a nutshell, it’s the US Federal Government.
It has grown beyond the the original guidelines set out in the Constitution. The Framers of the Constitution knew this would happen and we let it get away from us.
Unless it collapses under it’s own weight, the US will never be free from the destructive policies of Congress. We will never be able to vote ourselves out of this mess. It’s us vs them.
We are getting close to Sovereign Debt default as the currency dies.
This may be our only hope. Social unrest can not be avoided. If Congress fails to control the population they are in our sights.
Electing Trump won’t change a damn thing. He failed us on spending, he failed us on the vax (and more) and he is failing us now on Ukraine & Israel spending. This guy actually complemented Johnson for a job well done in passing that hideous bill.
Fuck Trump. Fuck the government. The only way is through complete and utter collapse of the system and those who screw us all. It always happens to every empire in the history of the world. The US is no different , our end hour has come, best action you can take is to take care of yourself and those you love as best you can, in the best way you know how.
Want to do something to improve things? Do it at the local level. Run for school board. Support good candidates for school board. Run for city or county office. Support good candidates running. The rest is a shit show and not worth expending your time and energy. You are fighting against the tide of history. And that tide ALWAYS comes in and GOES OUT.
I agree. Only when the Federal Government collapses will we the people have a chance to rebuild.
Trump may only be a speed bump on the way to total control.

The Dept of Education (Propaganda) has been a dismal failure.
Classics and History lessons have been replaced by Woke and DEI studies to indoctrinate the students. Much of what was the responsibility of the parents has been taken over by the school. At an early age, our minds are open to learning an incredible amount of info. By age 7 you can control their thoughts for a lifetime.
When the Uniparty attacks someone, we know that person is over the target as they must not let them succeed. Trump and RFK Jr must in their eyes be stopped as they are not easily controlled. A combo of the two may shake up the establishment but nothing changes if the Intelligence Community is not dismantled. Both have beefs against the numbered agencies.
Think of all the people in the US who are receiving government payments and/or backstops/guarantees: from bankers to states to tech companies to universities. Everyone from rich to poor is incentivized heavily to keep the gravy train going. No one is willing to sacrifice anything or take a loss and who can blame them?
No. The only way the system will be reformed is the establishment of a totally new one. what that new system looks like and who will hold the keys is an open question for me, but unfortunately you tend to see terrible, unenlightened decisions being made in a mad scramble to hold onto your way of life.
And history also says that what follows revolution or collapse will not be reform, but worse.
The American Revolution was the exception that proves the rule.
I’ve seen mention of others, but rarely.
If somehow progress does follow, I would bet on it taking several generations.
It may be the rolling bankruptcies of the large Metro areas.
The Pension liabilities alone, as the Boomers continue to retire, will cripple City budgets. They are underfunded at that level. City workers, Police, Fire, etc.
Federal and State liabilities will collapse their budgets. AI will only make it worse as people’s jobs are replaced. Not sure if the power grid will be able to supply these centres.
If these entitlements cease, it will be chaos. Mad Max.
There will be no bailouts. No one is coming to save them.
There will be a long transition as finances are worked out.
Who funds what? Who is responsible?
The eventual break up of the Federal Government and a loose affiliation of the states into regional areas.
It’s different this time as the collapse is centred on the former World Power.
Everything is connected.
I tend to agree it is essentially impossible to unwind decades of law and regulations that have brought America to where it is today. Only the dissolution of America itslelf will be enough to turf all Federal law into the trash heap and allow the country to start over and rebuild from scratch.
