I hate to burst the bubble, Fully, but Star Link satellites are low orbit targets for Russia’s newest air defence systems. As I am sure Musk is aware, those satellites won’t last long in a war with Russia. I doubt that the US is ahead of Russia in satellite technology, but even if they are they have fallen generations behind in air defence. They will not catch up. It’s time for America to get along with other countries. They no longer run the world.
In 2007 China took out one of their own satellites with a land based missile. No doubt this was a message that satellites that see all can be easily blinded.
What do you think the chances are that Russia and China have built in redundancies in their military communication systems? What do you think the chances are that the US does?
