Whenever I’m home, I walk around town a lot. Those ‘IN THIS HOUSE, WE BELIEVE…’ signs are displayed in front of an unbelievable number of houses, oftentimes alongside a Ukraine flag (but never an American flag in sight, maybe because it’s racist?). But, of course, Bend is like woke central. Every time I see such a sign, I’m tempted to knock on the door of the house, to ask any number of things. Stuff like:
-How many recently arrived southern border-crossers are you ready to accept into your home?
-You’re so intelligent, you must know about the Nuremberg Code, yes?
-How long has ‘Science’ been infallible anyway?
-How many of your children have volunteered in the Ukraine army and are over there now, ‘fighting for democracy’?
