The Germany military is preparing for a potential attack by Russia in February which culminates in a wider war after the U.S. presidential election.
German newspaper Bild reports on the details of a hitherto classified Berlin Ministry of Defense document called Alliance Defence 2025 with alarming implications. The secret strategy document wargames a hybrid Russian attack on NATO’s eastern flank as soon as next month and then lays out the steps on how the conflict would escalate month by month.
The scenario culminates in the deployment of hundreds of thousands of NATO troops and the onset of what amounts to World War III by the summer of 2025.
The Germany Ministry of Defense refused to comment on details of the document, but said it was “taking into consideration all scenarios, including extremely unlikely ones, is part of daily military activity, especially in training.”
Sweden is also cautioning its citizens to prepare for war with Russia, saying the country is ill-prepared to cope with the sudden onset of hostilities.

UK to send 20,000 troops to largest Nato exercise since the Cold War
ome 16,000 troops with tanks, artillery and helicopters will be deployed from the British Army across eastern Europe starting next month as part of the exercise.
The Royal Navy will deploy more than 2,000 sailors across eight warships and submarines, while more than 400 Royal Marines Commandos will be sent to the Arctic Circle.
The RAF will use F-35B Lightning attack aircraft and Poseidon P-8 surveillance aircraft.
Defence sources said that the exercise will prepare for the invasion of a member state by any aggressor, with the main threats being considered to be from Russia and from terrorism.

The primary objective of these NATO operations, which are due to begin in the latter half of February and continue for 14 weeks, is to train the North Atlantic Alliance on how to respond to Russian aggression against a neighboring country.
Around 15,000 Polish soldiers and several thousand troops from allied countries – including Americans, Brits, French, Germans, Spaniards, Slovenians, Turks, and Albanians – will execute their plan named “Dragon-24” as part of these exercises.

So 20,000 from UK & 15,000 from Poland –> who is providing the remaining 65,000 troops for the 3 1/2 month long simulation — Germany & Sweden surely have their hands full already as they are focuses on war?

The “Steadfast Defender” simulation in 2021 involved only 9,000 troops — why is 2024 being announced as 100,000? Will 2024 be MORE than 100K??

Hmmmm…..this article states that 31 Nations are participating in 2024 Operation Steadfast Defender.
That’s a LOT of countries — is it ALL the countries in the developed world? Does this mean it is like a “WORLD WAR” simulation exercise where everyone participates?

NOTE: SO I thought it might be interesting to find out how big CANADA’s budget is for 2023 or 2024. I googled & duckduckgo’d same and EVERY article that I found talked about the “delta deficit” that is anticipated through the budget but NOT A SINGLE NEWS SOURCE mentioned what the TOTAL budget is for Canada.
Does anyone know & if so how does CANADA’s yearly budget compare to Russia’s?????
I was surprised at how small the Russian budget is shown in the above article. It seems incredulously small!
