STALEMATE MY ASS
From Clandestine’s Newsletter
The ?? supporters are DESPERATELY clinging to the “stalemate” narrative.
They think the war is over for BOTH sides. Completely ignoring that Russia have not run out of soldiers, equipment, funding, etc. That’s just Ukraine.
This was a war of attrition, and Ukraine lost.
Russia are content to sit in their heavily entrenched defensive positions, allow Ukraine to send wave after wave of soldiers into their kill zones with no air support, then Russia will claim as much of Ukraine as they want after Ukraine have surrendered because they don’t have any soldiers left.
The war is not a “stalemate”. The highly advertised Ukrainian counteroffensive was a stalemate, meaning that it failed. Russia are still in complete control, and if their demands are not met by Ukraine/NATO, they will continue to chip away and outlast Ukraine.
So don’t let the ?? propagandists fool you. It is over for Ukraine, barring direct US intervention and full scale WW3.
Absolutely true, yet the argument doesn’t go far enough. People may be coming to the realization that Ukraine is losing, but the west should carry the logic forward to envision a Europe without a Ukraine.
Russia is at a point where it has no incentive to negotiate. She will take all the historic Russian lands. That is, the entire south, and everything east of the Dniper, and then call for a kind of buffer zone perhaps two hundred miles wide. Then nazi affiliated functionaries who have moved into those areas over the past decade will be required to go west. The Banderites won’t be pleased. No one in the west will accept those terms, and Russia won’t back down. So Russia will carry on, easily taking by force of arms everything she wants. Perhaps only leaving the Liviv and the Galician areas.
Thoroughly defeated, NATO will struggle to justify its existence. Europe will grow angrier at the US, and America taxpayers will chafe at the cost. Donald Trump will put an end to the entire farce.
The great hegemon made a catastrophic error when it refused Russia’s hand of friendship. It was a geopolitical blunder of historic import. It was also obvious to any serious analyst over the past three decades. The west has been led by fools for a long time.
