Trudeau Liberals are condemning Meta for blocking the sharing of news about Canadian wildfires on their platforms despite the fact that Meta’s decision was done in direct response to a controversial law passed by the Trudeau government itself.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau condemned Meta for banning Canadians from sharing stories about the various wildfires raging across the country – a move Meta only made to ensure they were in compliance with the Trudeau government’s recently passed Online News Act.
