I am getting too old to fight the Evil Pricks Who would suck all our joy out of life AND also fight battles because of friction between posters here .
So I reserve the right to “cancel” posters who create too much strife and save the Energy for fighting the Cretinic Vermin.
BUT we have a unique group of posters …all strong personalities and all quite different …Thats what makes the place great . So screw it…we are all here for the same reasons….one thing to check yourself when you post an angry rebuttal…is this respectful ( Its the Goldtent Golden Rule)
Having said that I agree with many that we should not restrict Sectors just because we don’t like what they are selling.
TA is about making money trading…up down ? Charts only !! We are not endorsing the company we chart …just reading the tea leaves for fun and profit.
For me trading has been NO FUN AND NO PROFIT …ONLY LOSSES FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS.
So we can Walk and Chew gum at the same time.
Charts are Non emotional…Just the facts mam
But also we Focus on all the Shit and rot and insanity that is inflicting itself into our lives and we need to be a BIG part of the solution

Not until now have we discussed this sector
So I was shocked at the chart ! More Money has been spent on This sector in a VERY short time ( supposedly) than any other sector in HISTORY
THESE STOCKS SHOULD BE FLYING…AT ALL TIME HIGHS…BUT !!!

Maybe all those Hundreds of Billions the “West” is tapping thier Taxpayers for Fighting Putin is not going to the defense industry ??

Spot on, Fully. Playing/trading the markets has nothing to do with endorsing a company. If we can make $$$ shorting a shitco, then short away. Ditto if we can make money going long. It’s the buy and hold that says “I endorse this.”
I know precious few folks that have made $$ trading the last two-three years. I sure ain’t one of them.
I agree with you Fullgoldcrown. This is a great site with some fascinating characters posting some amazing daily insights every day. Hope it all holds together although there is not really a way to manage that unless you become a dictator yourself. But then you would become the thing you hate most and we would all be losers. Its about keeping our independence and humanity I think.
Not every argument has to be broken up either. Sometimes people just need to blow off a little steam.
I totally get Nightgales position btw where charting the thing that appears to be the embodiment of Satan himself (in the guise of an AI program) is like giving power to that creation. He may be correct. Until he mentioned it I honestly never saw the risk but Holy Moses…..he is onto something really big. And its happening right in front of our eyes. Because we can’t even fight it. There is no human attached to it, no address, no country, no Zipcode. And yet it could rule us completely if enough people bow before it and let it begin to manage parts of our daily lives.
But I also support Chartmasters rights to post about it. We need to keep informed I think. So there is the dilemma. That’s why I did not get involved because both guys have their points and both can be right in his own way. I am all for more charting too. We have strayed from it the past year because Corona et al had become so overwhelming. But now its time to try and normalize our lives a little and not give it all our attention. We are being eaten alive by that worthless fear program. Need more air in the rooms!

A good moral and ethical backbone means individually not supporting a company or sector, that sells a product or service that does harm to humanity, in order to earn profits.
