Well some numbers are coming in that indicate a bigger “blowout” then the media has presented.

Right now I am looking at 209 Republican conceded wins with 187 Democratic conceded wins. If I look at an election map I see many lightly red (open) rural out west.

Simple math 435 minus (209 plus 187) leaves 39 seats to be decided. 218 is a majority. If the republicans only pick up half of these they are looking at  ~ 225 to 230.  I consider this to be significant.

( editor’s Note : I fixed your math Hearst.. 39 seats not declared not 29)

The Senate somehow comes in after this election cycle at about even 50 50. Shananigans are easier to disguise at the senate level(think PA, AZ, NV, GA).

Hang in there, lots of rural votes to count in this here election. If the pubs can get to 218 in the house and grow a backbone we’ll be talking.

FINGERS CROSSED

Added – BTW the DEMS are panicked that they may loose the NV senate seat, expect them to pull out all the stunts there over the next week or so (Clarke County uncounted votes).
