Populism On The Rise In Canada As “Unelectable” Pierre Poilievre Sweeps Conservative Leadership
Thanks Brian
The Poilievre movement brought 300,000 new members into the Conservative Party (myself and my wife included), which resulted in 68% of votes. The Laurentian elite anointed (and media approved) candidate was Jean Charest, who was clubbed like a baby seal, stitching together a mere 16% of the vote. This morning Charest announced his departure from politics.
Fully’s comment…don’t let the door hit your ass you Creep
……………
This is only going to Grow IMHO
I was shocked to see he won on the first vote and got such a large percentage. He really is the leader now, there were no real competitors at all. Charest is like an old rerun of a TV show that was never very good.
Poilievre isn’t as much of a hero as Maxime Bernier, but if 68% of the members voted for him right off the bat, that really says something about the maturity of the members with regards to Covid and all the rest of the insanity that’s going on right now in our country.
At the very least, Poilievre will galvanize question period and make it extremely hard for the MSM to ignore political dissent in Canada or shrug it off as the fringe of society and unimportant.
Good Points Tim
I look for The CPC to welcome Bernier back which will solidify the Movement even more
Scary though that, despite all the shit and pathological lies and gaslighting heaped upon us by Turd-o and Dogmeat, over 45% of the population would still vote for one of them.
Shows that half of our population is truly stupid 🙁
