Self Deception
It takes a lot of self-deception to repeatedly condemn the leaders of your own country for their tyranny and at the same time make a hero out of a murderous dictator in another country. I would have more respect for these self-deceived if they would simply condemn totalitarianism in any form they might see it, whether it is Biden, Trudeau, or Putin. To make Putin into a hero is a desperate attempt to escape their own doubts. The only way to escape these doubts is to embrace freedom and democracy no matter how threatened it is and to condemn tyranny in any form it takes.
Russia doesn’t go around the world and proclaim itself to be the beacon of freedom and liberty.
The West, and the US in particular, does.
But what we used to do in the shadows, and now in the open, belies that faux nobility.
That’s reason enough FOR ME to not hold Putin and western leaders to the same standard, as you might want to do.
Instead, I give added weight to hypocrisy. Because that puts a lie to the whole enchilada.
You’ve lost all your cred.
As for Putina himself, I simply subscribe to “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” Given that Bydonna is just a puppet, I see NATO and the US State Dept as enemies of humanity. The rest of MY logic flows from that.
Ditto pedro…that IS the Point of Rootin for Putin
