Miners / juniors
… seem to be stalled, in a stair step decline fashion.
Quite surprised, that Sir Rambus’s last update was quite bullish, recognizing the breakouts in many big names like NEM, GDX, and a bunch of others.
I rarely say this, but my patience is wearing thin now. Are we setting up for a sharp, sudden sell-off?
Since 3/31/2022, I have taken partial profits in long-term positions in BBBXF, ANXGF, KNTNF, NMTLF, BKRRF.
Completely sold all HL too.
Bought DBA, COPAF, GTAGF, VIPRF.
Cheers,

Slow and steady is boring and unlike most moves in PMs
Maybe this is a good thing
I, for one, find this a good thing, Fully. I am being pleasantly surprised by the lack of volatility. But then, by saying that very thing, I have probably jinxed that!! Hahahaaa.
At any rate, I have been punished more by lack of patience than I ever have from lurching about.
If we are in a bull market, patience is key. The bull will do everything it can to throw riders off. Including doing “slow and steady things” that frustrate the hell out of getting rich quick people. From what I am seeing, we are looking at a precious metals peak sometime in 2023. We have a long ways to go. Fundamentals are driving uranium and natty. General conditions are driving DBA, agriculture, and energy in general.
Those with some degree of patience will be richly rewarded. Especially so in silver and uranium.
But that’s just my opinion. It is exceedingly difficult to get right and sit tight. EXCEEDINGLY. Now is the time to nail down key postions and SIT. The sit longer. And longer still.
Many names get short-term overbought and then it is not pleasant to see the profits erode day by day.
I follow some TA and then sell the gainers to but other promising juniors which are on sale.
Many times this reduces my position size in those I sold, sometimes to a very small remainder position size.
But then this is what saved me so much grief in names like SVBL and NSRPF. They have gone nowhere to down, much much lower than my last sale price.

Do you have some kind of a strategy you are following/pursuing? Are you following any other chartists besides what you find on the Tent?
I follow Patrick Karim, Northstar, and Gold Ventures. And Morris Hubbart and Stewart Thomson too.

“There is no hurry to sell something you own, if prices keep rising.”
Very true and I think we are on the right side of the trade. Commodities have a long way to run …
